but where i live, ‘liberal’ is basically the opposite of ‘conservative’. if you’re liberal, it means you allow your child to not get married, and you allow him/her to study abroad, and allow him/her to talk to members of the opposite sex, and allow him/her to have a boyfriend/girlfriend. it also means you believe in more modern ideas and don’t stick to more traditional beliefs like “you must have children to pass on the family name”
and let me tell you, there are way more conservative people than liberals around here
